The Department of Electrical Engineering of MCUT is specialized in three main research areas: intelligent control, electric energy conversion, and communication systems. By developing and promoting the research quality of each of the three areas, we aim at helping our students decide their future directions and become professionals with practical skills and techniques required by the current and future industry. Additionally, we put great emphasis on technology-oriented research; we intend to build a bridge between academics and enterprises. By means of integrating high-tech artificial intelligence, communications, and the Internet with the effectiveness of traditional electrical engineering, improving and developing intelligent control systems, and applying those techniques to life technologies, we expect ourselves to create a specialized and active research area in the field of electrical engineering.
